RESPECT Volunteer Wins 2004 UN Award
The United Nations (UN) Volunteer programme recently announced their ten winners of the UN Online Volunteer of the Year Award for 2004. Among the recipients was RESPECT volunteer Will Wallace.
Marc Schaeffer, RESPECT's founder and International Coordinator nominated Will for his work with the RESPECT website and other information technology projects.
Will is currently serving as RESPECT's Vice President for Information Technology. His duties include webmaster, database administrator, email administrator, and Senior Editor for this e-Zine.
When asked about the award Will said: "I am very honored to receive the award; but I am not able to do what I do without the help and support of the dozens of RESPECT volunteers with whom I work, and the support I have received from Marc and the other board members."
The complete write-up for Will can be found on the online volunteer website.
